I am so thrilled to see this newsletter---despairing of any way to communicate with like minded progressive rural folk, I often fantasized about starting an alternative newspaper to the local right wing rag. I've also fantasized about a local radio station. That would be fun. And delighting in the wonderful communications from Astoria both radio and newspaper, I often considered moving there. Finally a ray of hope--a newsletter. By all means count me as a member of Clatskanie forward---we've been Clatskanie backward too long. Mary Duvall
